Lochaber College SVQ Centre
The
SVQ Centre at Lochaber College currently delivers vocational training
in administration and customer service. The Centre's core aim is
to deliver a reliable, hassle-free, quality service that will benefit
both candidates and employers.
SVQs,
or Scottish Vocational Qualifications, are workplace qualifications
which candidates achieve whilst carrying out their day-to-day work.
The SVQ Centre will ensure assessments are carried out regularly
in the workplace, support both the candidate and the employer throughout
the whole process and provide additional training to ensure candidates
get the most out of their training.
For candidates aged between 16 and 24yrs old, it could be possible
to receive this training free through the Government Skill Seeker Training Programme. Contact us and we’ll find
out for you.
